By downloading, installing, or using DigitalVet ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

DigitalVet is a veterinary record-keeping application designed for professional veterinarians, veterinary nurses, and licensed livestock officers. It provides tools for managing patient records, tracking vaccinations, scheduling appointments, and monitoring practice activity.

3. Eligibility

The App is intended for use by:

• Licensed veterinary professionals
• Veterinary technicians and nurses operating under supervision
• Government livestock officers
• Users aged 18 years or older

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of DigitalVet, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating records
• Keep the App and your device secure with a strong PIN or password
• Comply with all applicable Kenyan veterinary practice laws and regulations
• Not use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the App
• Maintain regular backups of your data

5. Professional Disclaimer

DigitalVet is a record-keeping tool only. It does not provide veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. All clinical decisions remain the sole responsibility of the licensed professional using the App. The developers of DigitalVet accept no liability for any clinical outcomes.

6. Data Ownership

All patient records, notes, and data you create within the App belong to you. We claim no ownership over your content. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is stored and protected.

7. Intellectual Property

The DigitalVet name, logo, app design, and all associated intellectual property are owned by DigitalVet and its creators. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without explicit written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, DigitalVet and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or harm to animals arising from clinical decisions.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be notified within the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
